Pet Rescue Adoption Superbowl Party! Homes Fur All is founded by The Fitzburgh Realty Team. We are a group of animal lovers and pet rescuers who happen to also be real estate agents! It is a brand new program with the goal of teaming up real estate agents with pet rescue groups to help homeless animals find loving furever homes. We are hosting a Superbowl party with over 200 guests/clients of ours who would love to have the opportunity to meet your foster animal. If you have any homeless cats or small dogs in need of finding a furever home, please contact us today. We would love for you to give them the opportunity to spark a "love connection" with one of our guests. The party will be tons of fun and kid friendly. It will be catered by a local chef, local bands and comedians will be performing, pony rides, face painting, etc. Come enjoy the party festivities too! We would love to have you and your furry friend(s) join us! Date: Sunday, February 5th Time: 12:30pm - 3:00pm Location: Glassell Park, CA 90065 RSVP: [email protected] A big THANK YOU to Rich for making his home brewed beer for our Superbowl Extravaganza! We are SO looking forward to tasting your delicious beer in less than TWO weeks!!! So Rich is so gracious to make a batch for us to drink on the big day AND he sent us photos as well as the steps he takes when he makes it. He says it's not all that glamorous of a process, but we here at Fitzburgh Realty thinks it looks pretty darn amazing! Check out the process below! :) Step ONE: Dry grains, crushed and ready to jump in a hot water bath Step TWO: Grains going into hot water to release malty, sugary goodness Step THREE: Grains steeping in hot water, this is called "mashing" Step FOUR: After an hour, malty liquid (called "wort") is drained away from the grain Step FIVE: The "wort" is then brought to a boil... Step SIX: These are hops, compressed into pellet form, soon to be added to the boil. This is one of 4 varieties of hops that I added to the boil. Hops release oils when hot to provide various bittering flavors. Final Steps are to cool, "pitch" yeast and seal up air tight for a couple week to ferment the sugars into alcohol! Then add some carbonation and you've got yourself beer! So now we have to wait TWO whole weeks to try out this beer at the Fitzburgh Realty Superbowl Party - in our opinion, that is the toughest step! Due to last year's Fitzburgh Realty Superbowl event being such a hit, we decided to do it again this year! There is so much to prepping to do for the big day... The beer is being brewed by our awesome homebrewer, Rich Shiba. Our talented facepainter, Alexa is anxiously prepping her paints and brushes for the big day. The local band, Artichoke, has been ready with back to back rehearsals for the amazing half time show... and we are super excited for the delicious food that our local caterer will be prepping up for us in just 2 and a half weeks! We are also excited to be hosting our first big Homes Fur All Adoption at the Superbowl event as well! The Fitzburgh Team is looking forward to seeing you all there!
